Erica Burkhardt grew up in Circleville, Ohio—home of the famous Pumpkin Show—before moving to Lancaster, where she met her husband, Ryan. After getting married in 2017, the two spent several years living in Pensacola, Florida, and Franklin, Tennessee, before ultimately settling back in Lancaster to be closer to friends and family.
Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending quality time with loved ones—grilling out, lounging by the pool, or cheering on her niece at soccer games. She and Ryan also love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and winding down with a good TV series (complete with full-on commentary sessions—especially during episodes of Love Is Blind).
A lifelong animal lover, Erica has a special place in her heart for rescue dogs. She and Ryan share their home with two rescue pit bulls, Peppa and Reese, and a spirited miniature Pomeranian named Nellie—who, despite her tiny stature, runs the household with confidence and charm.
On the professional side, Erica earned her bachelor’s degree in applied management from Ohio University and has spent her career helping organizations communicate more clearly and meaningfully with the people they serve. With a background in consulting and digital media creation, she brings a thoughtful approach to how information is shared—turning “professional” into “personal.”
She joined Libertas Wealth in 2025, and today, Erica oversees everything from design and editing to video production and the distribution of our client communications.
